Amid the tourism sector’s recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, efforts are turning to the nighttime economy, or entertainment provided from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. the next morning. The nighttime economy took a hit during the pandemic, but now the private sector and local governments are working on initiatives to take advantage of the influx of foreign visitors.
