India achieved a seven-year high in wind power installations in 2024, adding 3.4 gigawatts of capacity, driven by rising demand for round-the-clock clean energy. Wind power is essential to meeting evening power needs, particularly in high-demand summer months, and attention is shifting back to it as the country aims for continuous renewable energy.
